🇵🇭 Philippine Fuel Prices Rise as Middle East Tensions Continue

Fuel prices in the Philippines are increasing again today, with diesel rising by ₱2.31 per liter, as global energy markets remain under pressure from continuing tensions involving Iran and concerns over oil supply disruptions.

The increase is significant because higher fuel costs can quickly spread through the Philippine economy. Transportation, logistics, food distribution, manufacturing, and household expenses are all vulnerable to sustained increases in energy prices.

For the Philippines, the larger concern is whether the current geopolitical instability will keep global oil prices elevated for an extended period. If it does, energy costs could become an increasingly important source of inflation and economic pressure in the months ahead.
